La Montaña Mágica is a private property 500 metres away from the village of El Allende de Vibaño, in the Council of Llanes, Asturias.

The distance from the Cantabrian motorway A-8, E-70 and N-634 are 8 kilometres:

• Travelling on the A-8 motorway towards Oviedo-Santander: Take exit 303 (signposted Posada, Barro, Niembro). At the roundabout, turn off towards Posada, along the LLN-11. After seven hundred metres it comes out onto the AS-263, which must be followed to the left for two hundred metres until reaching Posada. Then, turn right onto the AS-115 towards Picos de Europa.
• Travelling on the A-8 motorway towards Santander-Oviedo: Take exit 300 (signposted Posada, Balmori, Celorio). At the roundabout, turn off towards Posada on the AS-263. After three kilometres and crossing Balmori and Quintana, you reach Posada. Turn left onto the AS-115 towards Picos de Europa. Leaving Posada on the AS-115 after 4.7 km you will reach La Herrería and, on the right, the turning will take you to El Allende and La Montaña Mágica. Both from Oviedo and Santander, the distance to La Montaña Mágica is about 105 kms.
• Travelling from Cangas de Onís, Covadonga or Cabrales: Take the AS-115 towards Posada de Llanes. After 9 km you will reach La Herrería. Then, turn left and cross the stone bridge.

The nearby towns with regular public transport services are Posada de Llanes and Llanes.

Posada de Llanes can be reached both by train (RENFE) and by bus. There are several daily services. If the timetables are not suitable for you, there is also the alternative of arriving by other means to the town of Llanes.

The distance from Posada de Llanes and Villa de Llanes is 7 and 18 km, respectively. The taxi fare from these towns to our accommodation is around 9 euros from Posada and 18 euros from Llanes.

• Seve Ballesteros-Santander Airport (SDR) is approximately a 1-hour and 10-minute drive.
• Asturias Airport (OVD), approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes by car.
• Bilbao Airport (BIO), approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes by car.
